OUR PHILOSOPHY

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Athletes are more than just performers on the field or court; they are individuals with complex physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Athlete wellness and mindset play crucial roles in their overall success and longevity in their respective sports.

We believe in promoting a positive, inclusive and affirming sports culture.

Beyond physical training and game strategies, mental resilience, emotional well-being, and overall wellness contribute to an athlete's performance and ability to handle pressure, setbacks, and the demands of their careers.

Addressing their holistic wellness, including physical health, mental well-being, and mindset, is essential for athletes to achieve their full potential.

Athletic Wellness Consultants understands the multifaceted nature of athlete development and provides comprehensive support to help athletes thrive in all aspects of their lives.

As former athletes ourselves, we understand the benefits of being involved in sports and the challenges that athletes face on and off the field. We bring not only athletic mindsets but also years of professional experience supporting athletes and their teams.

TESTIMONIALS

TESTIMONIALS

In Fall of 2023, Christine Mosher spearheaded our inaugural Female Athlete Mental Health Workshop, addressing our female varsity athletes and coaches. At Massachusetts Maritime Academy, our female student-athletes embark on a distinctive journey blending education and athletics. Amidst the unique environment of a primarily male-populated and regimented college, they confront hurdles unfamiliar to traditional college students or athletes.
Throughout the workshop, Christine engaged our student-athletes in discussions about articulating and understanding their emotions within the framework of team dynamics and coaching relationships. They gained insights into advocating for themselves and their peers, drawing from Christine’s own experiences as a former Division 1 athlete, which deeply resonated with our athletes. “
